FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if I miss my scheduled appointment?

Due to the limited schedule for our therapists, we do strictly enforce our 24 hour cancellation policy. We do attempt to fill the appointment, but if we are unable to do so, clients will be responsible for the amount of the missed service.

Do I need to get fully undressed for the massage?

For many forms of massage, most clients will be undressed under the sheets, however, your modesty is always protected and only the area being addressed will be exposed. Some clients prefer to wear some undergarments during the massage and this is acceptable.

Will I be sore after a massage?

A professional massage is more than an ordinary backrub and when your muscles are tight from stress or pain, they will often react and feel sore after your massage. We want any soreness to be tolerable and not 'painful.' It's important to communicate with your therapist regarding your expectations, as well as your current state of health. If you experience unusual soreness after your massage, communicate with your therapist so they can tailor the massage to your personal needs and make adjustments in intensity or techniques.

What if I am late for my massage?

If you are late for your appointment, you may not get the full allotted time due to the next scheduled appointment. You will be financially responsible for the original scheduled massage appointment.

How much do I tip?

Tipping is accepted , but not expected. A 15% tip is customary and we ask that the tip if given to the receptionist upon check out. The full amount of the tip will go directly to your therapist.

Can I bring my child to the appointment?

For the safety of our clients, we ask that you make outside arrangements for your children when you are here for our services.
